But why am I singling out ME2? It had such impressive opening, I loved its companions and their quests, the sidequests were fleshed out, it improved its gameplay/gunplay considerably and the pacing was exactly right. So I am wondering, maybe I am in the minority, and people prefer their newer games to the old ones? Or maybe not? As I am playing through Dragon Age Inquisition, GOTY 2014 that defeated such esteemed competition such as Shadow of Mordor and Mario Kart, I am pondering questions such as what am I doing with my life? Has Bioware always been this bad at sidequests? Have they always relied on such pointless timewasters that would put Ubisoftathons to shame? But then I remember my wonderful times with Mass Effect trilogy, Dragon Age Origins and The Knights of the Old Republic and realize that no, this is actually an abberation.
